I think it is safe to say that Easter was a welcomed holiday by just about everyone this year. A winter I think so many were ready to say goodbye to. The weather couldn't have been more gorgeous here and I couldn't wait for the festivities. The Easter Bunny came bright and early..... I mean look at that bed head.

kid went straight for the food. My kind of man.

disclaimer: the Easter Bunny stopped at both Mimi and Nana's house and picked up a few goodies before making his way to our basket.

and yes we gave him chocolate bunny for breakfast. Parents of the year.

Dad and his mini me (those chubby knees get me every time)

"Walking" into church

After church we went to Jazz Brunch at Le Pavillon. They had an Easter petting zoo in the lobby of the hotel. Little baby chicks and bunny rabbits that you could take home with you (we opted to leave them for others)

we were already unsure about it all and then the Easter Bunny went and wore out his welcome and it was officially over

balloons and a singing man in a pink suit. Where have you taken me!?

A wonderful Easter it was.

We dyed eggs over the weekend. Truth be told, I picked up the kit on a whim not thinking he would be impressed. Wrong. Crazy kid loved the whole process. The egg, the color, the dunking, the taste testing and most off... dumping the cups out. And in case you were wondering, our patio will forever be tie dye.

Proof right here that I didn't have much to do with this child. Spitting image of his father.

...and our hands still have a green tint.
